Jersey Shore to Host 2026 ComedySportz World Championship&nbsp;at The Jersey Shore Arts Center24 Improv Teams. 4 Days. 1 Hilarious Championship BattleNeptune Twp, NJ (May 1, 2026) -&nbsp;ComedySportz Jersey Shore is excited to host the <a href="https://www.cszworldwide.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">ComedySportz World Championship</a>, bringing together 24 teams from across the country for a four-day competition of fast-paced, improv comedy.&nbsp; The championship will take place June 24-27, at the Jersey Shore Arts Center with a final “winner takes all” match on Saturday, June 27th at 7:30pm.Top performance teams from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland, Milwaukee, Boston and more will descend on the Jersey Shore to battle it out for the ultimate improv title. This will be the 37th&nbsp;annual ComedySportz Championship - but the first time ever held in New Jersey.Hosting this national event is an exciting win for the Jersey Shore. Live comedy events like ComedySportz celebrate creativity and connection. During the week, the 200 visiting participants will have an opportunity for professional development through workshops and intensives run by some of the best instructors around the country. Brookdale Performing Arts Center is thrilled to launch a bold new comedy experience in 2026: Laugh Lab @Brookdale, an improv series where nothing is scripted, everything is unexpected, and the laughs are absolutely guaranteed. This fresh, experimental comedy night invites audiences into a world where performers push boundaries, test new ideas, and embrace the hilariously unhinged.&nbsp;
Guests will enjoy the show in cocktail-style seating, creating an intimate, club-like atmosphere. Snacks will be available for purchase, and the casual, lounge vibe offers a perfect night out for adults looking to unwind, laugh, and escape the ordinary.&nbsp;
