• Wood chipping program helps clear fuels ahead of wildland fire season (ksltv.com) — Eden homeowners are getting free help from Weber Fire District crews, who are chipping brush and dead limbs in local neighborhoods to reduce wildfire risk. Fire officials warn of a dangerous season ahead due to low snowpack and drought, and encourage residents to create at least 30 feet of defensible space around their homes with firefighters available to assess individual properties.
