• Landowners seek to disconnect from Erda City (tooeleonline.com) — More than 7,000 acres in and around Erda City could leave the city and return to unincorporated Tooele County, as over 300 parcels’ owners petition for disconnection. Citing limited city services and concerns over development rights, petitioners say they tried to preserve Erda’s commercial tax base while awaiting a city council hearing and final vote.
