• Trailer hangs over I-15 overpass after rollover crash in Kaysville (kjzz.com) — A rollover crash on I-15 in Kaysville left a camper trailer hanging precariously over the 200 North overpass late Thursday morning, blocking three lanes and snarling traffic. Utah Highway Patrol says the pickup and trailer tipped onto their side near milepost 329, but fortunately no serious injuries were reported and crews expected to clear the scene by early afternoon. 
• SkillsUSA National Plumbing Competition Showcases Next Generation of Plumbing Talent (contractormag.com) — Kaysville’s Davis Technical College shone on the national stage as student Beckham Dickson won gold and David Thompson took bronze in the 2026 SkillsUSA National Plumbing Competition in Atlanta. The event brought together 48 top plumbing students nationwide, underscoring strong career opportunities in the skilled trades and spotlighting Davis Tech as a training hub for future plumbers.
• County employees recognized for years of dedicated service (davisjournal.com) — Davis County commissioners recently honored long-serving employees from the sheriff’s office, assessor, attorney, golf course, HR and library, all of whom help provide services Kaysville residents rely on every day. At the June 9 meeting in Farmington, leaders praised staff with five to 30 years of service, calling this monthly recognition one of their favorite traditions.
