Although she didn’t win, she’s still pushing to create a free math tutoring center in Cache Valley to help local kids who can’t afford extra help.

Man faces charges for allegedly assisting May 23 shooter dispose of firearm (hjnews.com) — A 19-year-old man is charged with obstruction of justice after Logan City Police say home security footage shows him helping an 18-year-old suspect dispose of a firearm linked to a May 23 shooting near Bridger Park. Investigators haven’t recovered the weapon but allege the pair discussed hiding it in a bag as they moved around the Logan residence.

Geosciences Calendar (usu.edu) — Utah State University in Logan has released a detailed calendar of upcoming semesters, holidays, and key dates through 2027, including closures for Juneteenth, Independence Day, and Pioneer Day.
