• Unlicensed contractor arrested after allegedly taking over $100K from woman he was dating (ksl.com) — A Midvale man has been arrested in Utah County on suspicion of defrauding a woman he was dating out of more than $100,000, after already facing charges tied to unfinished contracting work. Investigators say he previously took tens of thousands for a South Jordan remodel, allegedly using another company’s license number and failing to complete the job.
