South Jordan 'Honey Pot' Bust: Man Held Without Bail In Online Decoy Sting (hoodline.com) — A South Jordan resident is being held without bail after investigators say he engaged in explicit online conversations with someone he believed was a 13-year-old, who was actually a law enforcement decoy. Prosecutors have charged him with felony enticement and obstruction, and officials emphasize that such undercover stings are a standard tool for Utah’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Salt Lake Bees postpone game as late winter storm moves into Wasatch Front (kjzz.com) — A Salt Lake Bees home game at the new South Jordan ballpark has been postponed to Saturday as part of a doubleheader because of an incoming late-winter storm. Rare condition drives new Aggie toward pediatric healthcare mission (hjnews.com) — A young South Jordan native with Nager Syndrome is heading to Utah State University, determined to design more welcoming pediatric healthcare spaces. 4. Unlicensed contractor arrested after allegedly taking over $100K from woman he was dating (ksl.com) — A South Jordan homeowner is among those alleging they lost money to an unlicensed contractor who’s now accused of scamming a Utah County woman out of more than $100,000. Investigators say the Midvale man previously took $31,000 for a South Jordan remodeling job, finished only a fraction of the work, and has a history of similar complaints from around Utah.
