Unlicensed contractor arrested after allegedly taking over $100K from woman he was dating (ksl.com) — A South Jordan homeowner is among those alleging they lost money to an unlicensed contractor who’s now accused of scamming a Utah County woman out of more than $100,000. Investigators say the Midvale man previously took $31,000 for a South Jordan remodeling job, finished only a fraction of the work, and has a history of similar complaints from around Utah.
