• WEEZER Announces 2027 International Tour Dates, Shares New Single 'C.E.O.' (iconvsicon.com) — Weezer is bringing its 2027 “The Gathering” tour to West Valley City, with a stop at the Maverik Center on Tuesday, September 15. The show is part of a larger North American and international run supporting the band’s upcoming self-titled album, featuring new single “C.E.O.” and several high-profile opening acts on select dates. 
• Poetry Foundation Announces the 2026 Ruth… (poetryfoundation.org) — A young poet and educator from West Valley City, Noel Munguia-Moreno, has been named one of five 2026 Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellows, a major national honor that includes a $27,000 award. The fellowship, run by the Poetry Foundation, supports emerging poets’ careers and will bring the cohort together for a featured reading at the 2026 Dodge Poetry Festival.
