• ‘The Rocky Horror Show' Canceled Over Threats to Cast and Board (sevendaysvt.com) — A planned run of “The Rocky Horror Show” by Essex Community Players at Memorial Hall in Essex Junction was canceled after anonymous threatening texts prompted an Essex Police investigation and multiple board resignations. The all-volunteer group now faces more than $11,500 in unrecoverable costs and lost fundraising for Pride Center of Vermont, while cast members try to move on and consider whether the show can ever be revived locally.
