• Call For Vendors – East Poultney Day – August 8, 2026 (poultneyhistoricalsociety.org) — East Poultney Day is set for Saturday, August 8, 2026, and the Poultney Historical Society is actively seeking vendors now. This 91st annual celebration will honor America’s 250th anniversary with a keynote on women in the Revolution, plus the usual mix of education and entertainment. Local artisans, nonprofits, and small businesses can apply by July 1 for affordable booth spaces. 
• Wells Student Wins Vermont Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest (mountaintimes.info) — A Poultney High School student from nearby Wells has earned Vermont’s top honor in the 2026 Federal Junior Duck Stamp art contest, advancing to the national level. Their mallard painting will join a traveling exhibit touring the country. The program blends art and conservation education, giving local students a high-profile way to showcase both talent and environmental knowledge.
