• VTel Neighbor Appreciation Day event Aug. 12 (chestertelegraph.org) — Springfield residents are invited to VTel’s free Neighbor Appreciation Day cookout on Wednesday, August 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at company headquarters on River Street. Expect complimentary burgers and veggie options, live music, giveaways, and the first public appearance of VTel’s new mascot, with special mugs for the first 50 attendees.
