• Westford Elementary students win battery drive contest (mynbc5.com) — Westford Elementary’s fourth and fifth graders just won a regional battery recycling contest, collecting an impressive 3,268 pounds and earning the school a $1,000 prize. Competing against 15 other Vermont schools, Westford students nearly matched last year’s statewide total in half the time, after learning how battery recycling protects the environment.
