• Williston Habitat ReStore launches ReBuild the ReStore campaign (mynbc5.com) — Williston’s Habitat for Humanity ReStore is rebuilding after an April fire and needs local donations of merchandise, racks, mannequins, and carts before it can reopen. Green Mountain Habitat is also seeking volunteers to help move back in, emphasizing that supporting the ReBuild the ReStore campaign directly sustains their affordable housing work in the community. 
• State officials say more cuts needed to tackle education, healthcare affordability issues in Vermont (mynbc5.com) — Vermont officials are warning that deeper cuts and system changes are needed to address rising healthcare and education costs, with UVM Health Network already losing hundreds of thousands of dollars daily. Williston Sen. Virginia Lyons supports measures asking hospitals to respond to cost pressures and backs new laws directing the Green Mountain Care Board to cap certain prices and adjust reimbursements.
