• Windsor Selectboard looks to Randolph for new manager (vnews.com) — Windsor’s Selectboard has hired current Randolph town manager Trevor Lashua to succeed longtime town manager Tom Marsh, who retires in June after 15 years. Lashua, a Springfield native with two decades in municipal government, will start June 15 at a salary of about $155,000. Randolph officials say he’s leaving on good terms and helping ensure a smooth transition there.
   

• Windsor County sheriff faces additional charges in Windsor (newportdispatch.com) — Residents in Windsor and across Windsor County should know that Sheriff Ryan Palmer now faces additional criminal charges related to alleged sexual misconduct, on top of earlier accusations. State police say more women have come forward, and prosecutors are pursuing new counts while the broader investigation into the sheriff’s office remains active. Authorities continue to seek tips from anyone with relevant information.
