Arlington Public Schools Alter Feb. 4 Schedule
Arlington Public Schools has updated its operating status for students and employees on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington Public School will operate on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Feb. 4 due to ice and hazardous conditions on sidewalks and roads, according to a post on the APS website.
With the delay, walkers and bus riders will travel more safely to school in daylight. It also provides additional time for travel to school.

- The Extended Day morning program will begin two hours after its regular start time, and morning field trips are canceled.
- All 12-Month, Essential Employees, Transportation and Food Services staff should report to schools and offices at their usual start times.
- All other employees should arrive two hours later than their regular start time.
Those who have safety concerns and decide to keep their student at home are asked to contact their school's attendance office. Absences can also be reported in ParentVUE.
