National Landing Pop-Up Sale Features Books, Vinyl, Live Music
A Novel Find pop-up sale comes to National Landing July 30 with books, vinyl, live music and discounts at nearby businesses.
ARLINGTON, VA — Book lovers, music collectors and bargain hunters will have a chance to browse thousands of gently used books, vinyl records, CDs and DVDs while supporting a local education nonprofit during a one-day outdoor pop-up sale in National Landing.
"A Novel Find," hosted by Turning the Page, will take place Thursday, July 30, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the courtyard between the Grace and Reva apartment buildings near 19th Court South in Crystal City, about a two-minute walk from the Crystal City Metro station.
The nonprofit will offer all items for $7 or less, with proceeds supporting its work helping public school families strengthen student learning and academic success.

Live Music, Restaurant Discounts Planned
The event will also feature live acoustic guitar performances by Dallas Smith from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Visitors who make a purchase at the sale can also take advantage of promotions from participating National Landing businesses. Among the offers announced are:

- Flight Wine Shop: 15 percent off with proof of purchase from A Novel Find.
- Toastique: 20 percent off orders of $15 or more with proof of purchase.
- Daydrift: 50 percent off pastries on Thursdays.
Organizers said additional retailer promotions are available through the National Landing website.
Book Donations Accepted Before Event
Ahead of the sale, Turning the Page is collecting donations of books, CDs and DVDs through Wednesday, July 29, at collection boxes placed throughout National Landing.
Donation sites include Bar Chinois, Colada Shop, Daydrift, Drybar, Flight Wine Shop, Grace, PLNTR, Reva, Valen, Zoe and 220.
Turning the Page operates used bookstores and book sales to help fund programs that provide families with books, educational resources and support for at-home learning. According to the nonprofit, it served 325 families during the past year through its literacy and family engagement programs.
