New Second-Hand Bookshop Coming To This Ashburn Shopping Center

ASHBURN, VA – A new used bookstore is coming to Ashburn, opened by a pair of longtime residents.

Twice Told Books is moving into the Old Town Village Shopping Center in Ashburn, according to its website. The new store is a project from longtime Ashburn residents Kevin and Claire Lemmon, according to The Burn. Twice Told’s website describes the family of six as bookworms turning their passion into a business.

According to the new business, the shop will buy and sell gently used paperback and hardback books. Customers are invited to bring in books to trade or to contact the shop with questions.

Owner Kevin Lemmon told Patch over email that he's aiming for an Oct. 15 opening, but nothing is firm yet. "We are so excited over here. We have never done anything like this, so each day we learn something new," he said. Right now, the family team is in the midst of painting and building shelves.

The new shop will open at 20691 Ashburn Road. Current posted hours are set for Monday–Saturday: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
