13-Year-Old Driver Loses Control, Crashes Car Into Power Pole In Fairfax County: Police
Two teenagers were injured after an accident in Fairfax County Sunday morning.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA – A 13-year-old driving a car with another teen as a passenger crashed into a power pole in Fairfax County Sunday morning, injuring both, Fairfax County police said.
According to police, one 13-year-old was driving the vehicle with another 13-year-old passenger when the driver lost control of the car on the northbound ramp connecting Fairfax County Parkway and Pohick Road. The car hit a power pole and almost went over a railing.
Both were taken for treatment of minor injuries after the crash. The Fairfax County Police Department announced the incident at about 8:30 a.m., and the road was reopened to traffic by 11 a.m.

According to NBC 4, the car belonged to the parents of the teenage passenger, and the driver has now been charged with driving without a license.
