• Water returns to Colasanto Park (alexandriabrief.com) — Water is finally flowing again at Colasanto Park in Del Ray, where the city has opened a new interactive splash fountain on Mount Vernon Avenue. Families can now enjoy the spray pad from sunrise to sunset under posted safety rules, as part of the long-planned Del Ray Gateway project that will eventually include a memorial garden for Nancy Dunning.
