Designed by a Warren County High School art teacher, the 8-by-55-foot artwork will celebrate a century of Rotary service, highlighting themes like peace, education, clean water, and community impact.
3. Front Royal Family Practice Files $5 Million Lawsuit Against Warren Memorial Hospital and Valley Health in Virginia (timesvirginian.com) — Patients in Front Royal should know that Front Royal Family Practice has filed a $5 million lawsuit against Warren Memorial Hospital and Valley Health over access to electronic medical records after the practice moved back to 140 W. 11th Street. The case, now in Warren County Circuit Court, centers on alleged contract breaches and who controls patient information in Valley Health's Epic system, with the defendants denying wrongdoing and seeking arbitration instead of a jury trial.
4. Structural Damage Closes Front Royal Elementary School (thewinchestergazette.com) — Families in Front Royal should know that E. Wilson Morrison Elementary is closed due to newly discovered structural damage, with students temporarily out while officials assess the building. The school board is weighing options including remote learning and relocations, hosting open houses at multiple Warren County schools and partnering with Reaching Out Now for a supply drive to support displaced students and teachers.
5. American Legion Post 53 Builds New Pavilion for Veterans and Community (royalexaminer.com) — A new American Legion pavilion on West Eighth Street in Front Royal is nearing completion, promising more space for concerts, picnics, and community gatherings by late October.
