• Man accused of attempted murder (shoredailynews.com) — A Hallwood resident from Main Street has been indicted on charges of transporting methamphetamine into Virginia with intent to distribute, and is being held without bond. The same grand jury session also brought an attempted murder indictment against a Parksley man and a separate meth possession charge for a Bloxom resident, highlighting ongoing serious drug and violent crime cases in Accomack County.
