<p>Celebrate creativity, community, and the planet at <strong><i>ChalkFest at eARTh Day 2026</i></strong>, a joyful outdoor art event hosted by Public Art Reston on <strong>Saturday, April 25, 2026</strong><b>,</b> at Reston Town Square Park. The event is presented as part of the annual eARTh Day celebration organized by the Reston Town Center Association.</p>
<p><i>ChalkFest</i> welcomes <strong>artists of all ages and skill levels</strong>—from professional artists to enthusiastic amateurs, families and kids. Registered participants will create their own chalk masterpieces in designated squares, with prizes awarded in categories such as <strong>Professional Artists, Amateur Artists, Families &amp; Kids, and People’s Choice</strong><b>. </b></p>
<p><strong>Chalking begins at 11:00 a.m.</strong>, judging starts at 4:00 p.m., and <strong>winners will be announced at 5:00 p.m.</strong></p>

Alexandria Art Show & Spring Craft Fair ~ Mother's Day Celebration @ John Carlyle Square

<p>Bring your family and friends to the Purcellville Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, April 25 from noon to 7 p.m. rain or shine. This free, family-friendly event will be held at Fireman’s Field Park and inside the Bush Tabernacle Skating Rink at 250 South Nursery Avenue.

<p>Enjoy a full day of live music and performances across multiple stages, along with an art exhibit, games, chalk art, and a variety of interactive activities. Browse offerings from local vendors featuring handcrafted goods, food, beverages, and more. There will be fun for all ages, including face painting, glitter tattoos, sidewalk chalk art, and t-shirt or tote bag decorating. Local non-profits will also be on-site sharing information and resources. Special activities will highlight and celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s independence.<br>
</p><p>Inside the Bush Tabernacle Skating Rink—transformed into the Art Hall—you’ll find more than 30 works of art, live performances, art demonstrations, and hands-on activities including quilt square decorating and an Instrument Petting Zoo. Virginia Sports League Launches in Loudoun County<br /><br />Virginia Sports League (VSL) is a new adult recreational sports league launching March 2026 in Sterling, VA. Open to adults 18+, VSL offers Men's, Women's, and Coed divisions for all skill levels.<br /><br />Our first season tips off with Wednesday night basketball — 12 weeks of play plus playoffs.<br /><br />What makes us different? Every game is filmed and analyzed by AI through our SportsVisio partnership. Every player gets full box score stats, personalized highlight reels, and Player of the Game graphics — the kind of coverage usually reserved for pros. Make a great play, and it's captured, clipped, and delivered to your phone.<br /><br />Basketball is just the start.
