Join Dr. Ibrahim and Dr. Borges, your friendly physical therapists, for a supportive, beginner‑friendly Running 101 workshop designed to help you feel stronger, move better, and understand the fundamentals of safe, enjoyable running. Whether you’re starting fresh or returning after time away, this class will give you practical tools to improve your form, build confidence, and stay injury‑free.
Spots are limited, so early sign‑ups are encouraged. We’d love to have you join us and start your running journey with a strong foundation.

We’ll ease in with an ice breaker and warm‑ups, explore the running cycle, and guide you through a movement self‑assessment. You’ll learn key strengthening and stretching exercises, how to navigate common injuries, and simple recovery strategies. We’ll finish with a cool‑down and plenty of time for questions.</ul>

The George M. Hampton Foundation is proudly presenting this year's Gene Montague Memorial 5K. The fun run/walk will be from 8:30 am - 10:30 am at Occoquan Park in Lorton. Funds raised will go toward the Foundation's scholarships for local high school seniors, support of mentoring programs (Omega U) and for fundraising support to health initiatives, such as the American Diabetes Association's Step Out. Registration is $45 up to August 29th and a race shirt is included. Registrations after August 29th are $50 and a race shirt IS NOT guaranteed. Come out and have a great time in support of a great foundation and a worthy cause!

We are partnering with the Marian Foundation which provides Housing for the Intellectually Disabled. This will be a Drive and Drop Operation, so people do not have to exit the car. However, donors who may be concerned about document security are invited to watch their documents being shredded using a closed circuit television built into the side of the shredding truck. This is a free shredding event, and we are only asking for a Donation. The shredding truck will be located in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parking lot at 12809 Valleywood Drive, Woodbridge, VA 22192. Thank you for your support.

Esta será una operación de Drive and Drop para que las personas no tengan que salir del automóvil.
