On June 6, the Col.James Wood II chapter of Virginia SAR Sponsored a Revolutionary War Patriot grave marking for Robert White at the White Family Cemetery near Mt Olive Church in eastern Frederick County, VA . Robert White served as a Lieutenant in the 2nd, 5th,6th, 9th, 11th, and 15th Continental Lines for Virginia.

The event was attended by virginia SAR President Darrin Schmidt. Virginia SAR Chapters participating included: George Mason, Culpeper Minutemen, and Sgt Maj John Champe. DAR chapters participating included: Fort Loudoun and Pack Horse Ford (WV). The Virginia Society Descendants of Washington's Army at Valley Forge also participated.
