Lorton Townhouse Fire Extinguished With No Injuries Reported

LORTON, VA — A townhouse fire in Lorton on Wednesday morning caused damage but no reported injuries, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

Firefighters responded to the 9600 block of Eaton Woods Place, where crews arrived to find smoke and fire coming from the rear of the townhouse and a first-floor balcony, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said in a social media post.

All occupants had safely exited the home before firefighters arrived, according to the department.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue has not released additional information about the extent of the damage or whether the home was left uninhabitable.
