National Thrift Chain To Open First VA Location In Manassas

MANASSAS, VA — A venerable national thrift store chain is opening its first Virginia location in Manassas later in August.

Red White & Blue Thrift is opening a new location in Manassas, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for Aug. 27 at 10318 Portsmouth Rd.

According to the company, Red White & Blue Thrift has been providing second-hand shoppers with clothing, furniture and home decor for more than 60 years and now has more than 30 locations in 11 states.

The chain says it aspires to save customers' money, foster a culture of sustainability, and create local jobs. (The new store does appear to be hiring for sales associates.)

The Manassas store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.

The chain reminds shoppers that the store is cash-only and that ATMs are available in-store.

The opening ceremony will begin at 8:45 a.m. at the new store, located at 10318 Portsmouth Road in Manassas.
