Manassas Residence Struck By Gunfire: Police
Prince William County police have reported a new incident of property damage due to gunfire without a reported target or motive.
MANASSAS, VA – Prince William County police are reporting another incident of shots being fired at homes or cars with no revealed motive, target or suspect.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, officers responded to a report of gunshots at the Regency Apartments on the 9900 block of Shallow Creek Loop in Manassas at 3:15 a.m. on Friday.
Investigators say gunshots were heard in the area and a resident found a back door window that had been struck multiple times. No other injuries or property damage were reported.

In late July, Prince William County police investigated three incidents of gunfire over three days in the county, none of which appeared at the time to have a specific motive or target. In those incidents, a residence and two cars were struck.
When asked, Prince William County police said gunfire like this wasn't uncommon and didn't say if they thought any incidents were linked.
