Woman Found Dead With Upper-Body Trauma In Great Falls, Police Say
Fairfax County police are investigating after a woman was found dead with upper-body trauma in Great Falls on Monday morning.
GREAT FALLS, VA — Fairfax County police are investigating the death of a woman who was found with injuries Monday morning in Great Falls.
Officers responded to the 8800 block of Georgetown Pike, according to an 8:49 a.m. post from the Fairfax County Police Department. Police said the adult woman had trauma to her upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives were traveling to the scene when police issued the alert. Authorities did not identify the woman or provide information about what may have caused her injuries.
