Worker Stranded 20 Feet Up Rescued From Bucket Truck In McLean
Firefighters rescued a worker stranded 20 feet above a Route 267 ramp in a disabled bucket truck in McLean.

MCLEAN, VA — Fairfax County firefighters rescued a worker stranded about 20 feet above the ground in a bucket truck Thursday morning in McLean, according to the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.
Crews responded shortly before 11:30 a.m. to the westbound Route 267 ramp at Dolley Madison Boulevard after the bucket truck lost power, leaving the worker trapped in the elevated bucket.
Members of Tower 401 safely lowered the worker to the ground. No injuries were reported.
