• An effort to provide housing, medical help and hope is expanding again, despite funding challenges (cardinalnews.org) — A major expansion of Family Crisis Support Services’ campus in Norton will soon add medical care, mental health services, pet boarding, and a commercial kitchen to better support homeless residents and abuse survivors. Despite losing a key federal grant and facing flat state funding, the nonprofit is pushing ahead to meet sharply rising homelessness and domestic violence cases in Norton and surrounding counties.
