New Culture-Blending Restaurant Begins Soft Opening In Old Town
Finn and Fire promises a Peruvian-Nikkei menu.
ALEXANDRIA, VA – The long-awaited new steak and seafood restaurant, Finn and Fire, has begun its soft opening in Old Town.
The restaurant posted a sneak-peek video on its Instagram page yesterday, where it says it is taking reservations by phone. It is taking the place of Indian restaurant Kismet on 111 N. Pitt Street. The new restaurant was first reported in October.
Hiring notices describe a Peruvian-Japanese fusion menu, with sushi technique and “bold Peruvian flavors.” Peruvian-Nikkei arises out of a century of blending cultures in the mountainous South American country.
