Sweet Senior Tobias Is Alexandria's Adoptable Pet Of The Week
Senior dog Tobias is looking for his family.
ALEXANDRIA, VA – Chill little Tobias is the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria’s adoptable pet of the week.
"Tobias is a sweet little 25-pound senior dog looking for a quiet home where he can enjoy his golden years,” the AWLA writes. “Twelve-year-old Tobias likes short leisurely walks, followed by nice long naps. On a nice day, he enjoys basking in the sunshine. Since he is a little older, Tobias is quite calm and will make an excellent companion.”
Senior pups don’t ask for much, the shelter says. Some good food, a warm bed and loving pets will earn you a great little couch buddy.

Tobias is waiting for his forever home. To meet him and the other adoptable animals waiting for their families, contact the AWLA shelter or visit them at 4101 Eisenhower Avenue during adoption hours, from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, or noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
