ā¢ Pembroke mayor charged with two misdemeanor obstruction counts (wsls.com) ā Pembroke residents should know that their mayor, Dana Munsey, has been indicted on two misdemeanor obstruction of justice charges and released on bail, with a court hearing set for July 27 in Giles Circuit Court. Munsey, an Independent who has served Pembroke in elected roles since 2017, was elected mayor in November 2025, and town council members have declined public comment so far.
