Makers Union offers a brunch menu that includes breakfast nachos, fried chicken sandwiches, Maryland crab cake Benedict, and smoked salmon lox. Makers Union is located at 1811 Library St. in Reston.

Kalypso’s Sports Tavern is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 10, from 1 to 4 p.m. The event, titled "An Afternoon of Smooth Jazz & Soulful Sounds," features live music by the Rodney Kelley Jazz Experience, featuring Rodney Kelley and Nae-G. Americans are projected to spend approximately $6.4 billion on special outings and meals this year, a figure surpassed only by the $7.5 billion expected expenditure on jewelry, according to the survey.
