Collegiate School Alum Selected For Television Academy Foundation Internship in Hollywood
Lauryn Tolliver of Richmond Interning in Children's Programming this Summer

Collegiate School alumna Lauryn Tolliver has been selected for the prestigious Television Academy Foundation Internship program. She is one of 40 students chosen by Television Academy members from across the country for the 2026 Summer Internship program. The Foundation offers paid internships at top Hollywood studios and production companies annually to college students nationwide.
Tolliver is a rising senior at Loyola Marymount University majoring in English with a minor in business administration. She will be an intern this summer in the children’s programming development department at Cloudco Entertainment in Los Angeles, California, through the Foundation’s program. Cloudco is an entertainment studio with a wide range of properties, including Care Bears, Madballs and Holly Hobbie. It develops multiplatform entertainment franchises across all media channels and extensive consumer merchandising programs for its brands.
“I have been watching the Emmy Awards every year since I can remember,” said Tolliver, “pouring over nominees and their works in extreme detail for long after the awards ceremony . To know that the same people whose job it is to pick the best of the best TV shows picked me, is just out of this world cool.

“I have always loved television, ever since I was a little kid, and so many of my core memories revolve around TV shows and the lessons that I have learned from them,” said Tolliver. “One of my earliest memories is sitting on the floor of my grandmother's daycare watching Sesame Street. I remember learning how to be a good neighbor and friend from Big Bird and Elmo. When I realized that I could be the one making those television shows and creating new worlds, I knew I wanted to do that.”
Tolliver is originally from Richmond, Virginia.
