• Winchester Regional Airport Gets $2.2M Aviation Grant (thewinchestergazette.com) — Winchester Regional Airport is getting a $2.2 million state aviation grant to prepare a 30-acre parcel for future hangars, maintenance facilities, and other aviation uses. The work, starting this fall, will make the site shovel-ready and could attract new jobs, diversify the tax base, and strengthen Winchester's role in Virginia's aviation economy.
• Community Watch: Winchester Police Seek Tony Rush (thewinchestergazette.com) — Winchester Police are asking for the public's help locating Tony Eric Rush, who is wanted in Winchester on a felony eluding charge and several misdemeanors. Residents can share tips, photos, or videos anonymously, but should still call 911 for emergencies and use the department's main line for nonurgent needs.
