18-Year-Old Driver Dies Days After Haymarket Crash: Police
An 18-year-old man died after his car ran a stop sign, struck two trees and overturned in Haymarket, police said.
HAYMARKET, VA — An 18-year-old man died Friday from injuries suffered in a single-car crash two days earlier in Haymarket, according to Prince William County police.
The crash happened around 2:25 p.m. Wednesday at Dominion Valley Drive and Waverly Farm Drive.
Investigators said the teen was driving a 2022 Honda Civic on Waverly Farm Drive when he ran a stop sign at the intersection and struck a tree. The car rolled and hit a second tree before coming to rest against a fence line, police said.

The driver was taken to a hospital, where he died Friday from his injuries. Police did not identify him in the information provided.
