Update: Prince William County Police Investigating Deadly Shooting In Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, VA – A 42-year-old man was shot to death during a fight with two other men in Woodbridge Tuesday night, police report.

According to police, Frances Joseph Douglas, 42, of Bowling Douglas, was shot multiple times during a fight in a parking lot on the 1200 block of Potomac Vista Drive shortly before 9 p.m. Police say Douglas was involved in a physical altercation with one man when a second man joined and shot Douglas multiple times.

Douglas was able to get to his vehicle and was taken to a hospital by a family member. He died at the hospital.

Police have not released a description of the suspect in the shooting.

The area has already seen several shootings this year, including one earlier this month and a shooting incident in March that left one dead and four wounded.
