Woodbridge Man Accused Of Cross-Country Drug Trafficking Indicted On Multiple Charges

WOODBRIDGE, VA – A Woodbridge man prosecutors allege is part of an international trafficking ring smuggling drugs through Loudoun County into the Northern Virginia area has been indicted on multiple charges, according to court documents.

Reza Romeo Keyhan of Woodbridge was indicted on Thursday on eight counts relating to drug and weapons offenses. In a court affidavit, investigators say they believe Keyhan is involved in transporting kilogram quantities of narcotics to Northern Virginia, selling them in small quantities and sending the proceeds back to the U.S. West Coast and Mexico.

Keyhan was arrested on June 22.

Investigators say Keyhan told witnesses that he had the Woodbridge drug trade “locked down. Starting in 2023, investigators say they have conducted controlled purchases of drugs from Keyhan and taken part in undercover cash transfers with him for money laundering in Springfield and Oxon Hill, Maryland. They say a search of Keyhan’s iCloud storage revealed photos and videos of drugs, including videos that appeared to be intended as marketing.

Evidence was also supplied by a cooperating defendant in the case and multiple unindicted alleged co-conspirators.

In total, Keyhan is charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl and 5 kilograms or more of cocaine, three counts of distribution of cocaine, one count of distribution of fentanyl and cocaine, one count of attempted possession with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl and 500 grams or more of cocaine, one count of possession with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.

Keyhan’s trial date has not yet been made public.
