Rooted in Bellevue’s rich arts legacy, Bellevue Arts Fair Weekend continues to bring people together through creativity, connection, and inspiring experiences for all ages. Produced by the Bellevue Arts Museum and presented by The Bellevue Collection, the Bellevue Arts Fair is celebrating its 80th year!

As ecosystem engineers, beavers have a big impact on the habitats that they call home. This can often be a boon for fish and wildlife sharing this space, but a headache for people nearby. In this presentation, Elyssa will dive into beaver ecology and benefits as well as the challenges and opportunities for living with beavers in a landscape dominated by human infrastructure. The role of beavers in water quality, water conservation, fire mitigation and biodiversity will be emphasized.

Kiddie Academy of Bellevue will host Hero Play Day on Saturday, July 25 at 10 a.m. for infants to 12-year-olds. Families are invited to attend this free community event designed to help children recognize and celebrate their personal heroes.

Teen Resilience and Thriving workshop helps teens identify stress and learn coping skills, positive self-talk, and time management. 

This workshop gives teens a safe place to share their challenges and grow their confidence, providing them with essential skills to enhance their learning experiences. 


During the workshop teens will:
<ul><li>Understand stress in general and recognize when they are over-stressed.</li><li>Recognize that they are not alone, and that others also experience similar challenges.</li><li>Learn time management and organizational skills to avoid procrastination and reduce stress.</li><li>Learn and practice how to replace a negative self-talk with positive or neutral self-talk.</li><li>Practice de-stressing exercises.</li></ul>
PLEASE NOTE: The workshop is for YOUTH in middle school and high school. This is NOT a workshop for parents/caregivers. 

If you are a parent who is registering your teen(s) for this workshop, please register each teen individually.

A few days prior to the class, participants will receive an extensive electronic workbook with exercises they will use during the workshop and will be encouraged to continue using it after the workshop.&nbsp;

A series of fun, challenging projects showcase multiple areas of study including faces, bodies, character development, layout, perspective, lettering and much more. The emphasis is on developing each student’s own style.
