• Edmonds Chamber of Commerce names Michael Campbell-Danas new president and CEO (myedmondsnews.com) — Edmonds residents will soon see new leadership at the Chamber of Commerce, as Michael Campbell-Danas steps in as president and CEO starting Sept. 8, with a public meet-and-greet Sept. 9 at the Edmonds Waterfront Center. With a background in nonprofit leadership and regional partnerships, he aims to strengthen support for local businesses and keep Edmonds' signature events thriving.
   

• Starts Sept. 8: Portions of Pine Ridge Park to be closed for basin dredging (myedmondsnews.com) — If you use Pine Ridge Park in Edmonds, expect three days of daytime closures around Good Hope Pond starting Tuesday, Sept. 8, while the city dredges a key stormwater basin. Parking, the main access road, and several trails will be closed 7 a.m.–4 p.m., but alternate routes and evening access will remain available.
   

• In Days Gone By: The story of the historic Parmelee house (myedmondsnews.com) — A beloved historic home at 1228 9th Ave. N. in Edmonds has seen more than a century of family stories, tragedies, and careful restoration. From the McCann family's early 1900s stewardship to the Parmelees' and Suttons' painstaking renovations, the house's architecture, gardens, and even film shoots reflect Edmonds' evolving character and commitment to preservation.
