Rooster Bagel Cafe Planned for Downtown Edmonds (whatnow.com) — A new all-day Rooster Bagel Cafe is planned for 515 Main St. in downtown Edmonds, with a liquor license request covering beer, wine, cocktails to go, and growlers. Details like menu, hours, and opening date aren't public yet, but co-owner Timothy Niles Peacock already runs a popular Edmonds waterfront restaurant, suggesting another notable dining option is on the way.
   

2. Edmonds Oktoberfest continues Saturday with family fun, pet parade (myedmondsnews.com) — Edmonds residents can still catch Rotary Oktoberfest today, with gates open from noon to 10 p.m., kids' activities until 6 p.m., and a pet parade at 2 p.m. Minors are now allowed in the beer garden with parents until 7 p.m., and proceeds support local Rotary programs benefiting the Edmonds community.
   

3. 18th annual Monster Mad Dash 5K returns Oct. 3, creating opportunities for students (myedmondsnews.com) — Families across the Edmonds School District are invited to join the Monster Mad Dash 5K on Oct. 3, raising money that goes straight back into local schools. Past proceeds funded field trips and free after-school clubs at Lynndale Elementary and 24 other campuses, giving hundreds of Edmonds-area students access to enrichment without extra family costs.
   

4. League invites public to Constitution Day readings across Snohomish County (lynnwoodtimes.com) — Snohomish County residents, including those in Edmonds, are invited to free Constitution Day readings Sept. 17–24, with one event at the Edmonds Library and others nearby. Community members will take turns reading the Constitution and Bill of Rights aloud, in gatherings co-hosted by local partners like Edmonds School District and Edmonds United Methodist Church's political action group.
   

5. Sept. 2026 > Discipline & Other Regulatory Notices (wabarnews.org) — Washington's latest bar discipline report includes several serious sanctions statewide, including the disbarment of Edmonds attorney Jeremiah Spencer Styles effective July 16, 2026. While most cases involve lawyers from other cities, this notice is a reminder for Edmonds residents to check the Bar's directory if they have questions about their own legal representation.
