• Driver hits tree, dies on SR 410 (courierherald.com) — Serious crashes on SR 410 near Greenwater, including one between Greenwater and Enumclaw, closed the highway twice on Sept. 9 and sent two people to Harborview. A 20-year-old Sumner man died after hitting a tree, and a 47-year-old Buckley motorcyclist and his passenger were hospitalized after striking a guardrail that evening.
