• FWHS student charged after alleged school shooting plan (federalwaymirror.com) — Federal Way families should know that an 18-year-old Federal Way High School student is jailed on $500,000 bail after being charged with felony harassment tied to alleged threats to kill his ex-girlfriend. Police say they recovered a firearm and other items from his Des Moines home, and the case, involving alleged plans around the school, remains under active investigation.
• Two Kent men plead not guilty in separate shooting, stabbing (kentreporter.com) — A recent Kent double-homicide case involves a 26-year-old victim from Federal Way, drawing local concern as two Kent men now face murder charges in separate April 7 incidents. Prosecutors say one man is accused in a backyard shooting that killed the Federal Way resident and another man, while the other is charged in an unrelated fatal stabbing the same night.
