• Alchemy Art Center announces 25th Annual San Juan Island Lavender Festival (islandsweekly.com) — Friday Harbor residents can look forward to the 25th Annual San Juan Island Lavender Festival at Alchemy Art Center’s Field Campus this July 18–19, with free admission. Expect live music, La Doña’s Saturday concert, hands-on art, lavender harvesting, food vendors, and plenty of family-friendly activities right at 45 Hawthorne Lane.
