• Dispose of hazardous residential waste in Castle Rock in April, Kalama in May (thenewstribune.com) — Kalama residents can safely drop off household hazardous waste on May 2 at the park-and-ride near the 300 block of Kalama River Road. The county’s free mobile collection runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with similar events in Castle Rock, Ryderwood and Woodland, plus a permanent facility in Longview for those who can’t attend.
