The project, funded entirely by volunteers, aims to make dogs calmer, healthier, and easier for Kennewick adopters to get to know, potentially boosting adoption rates across the community.

Bob Ferguson promoted his proposed “Away for the Day” statewide ban on student cell phone use during the school day, which could start in 2027 if lawmakers approve it.
