The walk-in shop, run by 365 Retail Markets and Evergreen Refreshments, aims to ease lunchtime congestion and replace limited vending options with a wider selection of food and drinks.

With rents starting around $1,275 and on-site support services, it's a new option for Kirkland-area seniors seeking lower-cost housing and easy access to transit, trails, and community amenities.
   

4. Ferguson launches new Space Council, complacency is not an option (lynnwoodtimes.com) — Washington's new Governor's Space Council could shape the future of Amazon's growing satellite work in Kirkland by tackling costs, infrastructure, and competitiveness with states like Texas and Florida. The council will study workforce, launch options, and business climate to keep high-paying space jobs and new satellite lines anchored in this region instead of drifting elsewhere.
