• Llifetime sentence in Okanogan County murders converted to 40 years (ncwlife.com) — A man convicted in the 1995 murders of two orchard workers in Okanogan County has had his life-without-parole sentence reduced to just under 41 years, leaving about a decade to serve. The resentencing follows Supreme Court rulings on young offenders and was ordered this week by an Okanogan County Superior Court judge.
