The Okanogan City Council will take testimony in person or via Zoom before considering adoption of updated street and urban improvement programs.

The notice details the debt, sale procedures, and deadlines for the owners or junior lienholders to cure the default or seek mediation under Washington law.

Authorities Seek ID of Body Found Near Malott (kw3.com) — Authorities in Okanogan County are asking locals to help identify a man found deceased in the Okanogan River near Malott on Monday, June 8. Deputies released a detailed description and a photo of a distinctive tattoo, noting this is the second river death in two weeks and urging anyone with information to contact the sheriff’s office.

The Methow Valley Class of 2026: graduates, awards, scholarships (methowvalleynews.com) — Methow Valley’s Class of 2026 is heading to colleges, trades, and the workforce with a long list of local honors, including scholarships from Okanogan County Ecology and Okanogan Masonic Lodge #169. Graduates earned support from Methow Valley Education Foundation, Winthrop Kiwanis, and many other community groups, plus top awards like valedictorian, state honors, and CTE pathway recognitions.
   

5. Traffic deaths on the rise in North Central Washington (methowvalleynews.com) — Traffic deaths have surged in Okanogan County, more than doubling from six in 2023 to 13 in 2025, even as statewide fatalities decline. Officials highlight deadly crashes along Highways 97, 97A, 20 and 153 and warn that the summer months ahead are the most dangerous, with extra patrols planned but limited by staffing.
