Reed, who has served as interim CFO since June 2025, praised the Prosser community and will guide the hospital’s financial performance and strategic growth moving forward.
   

• The PNW Gets USDA Potato Bioinformatician (potatogrower.com) — A new USDA-funded bioinformatician position is coming to the WSU/ARS Research Center in Prosser, focusing on improving potato breeding through advanced genetic data analysis. This role will speed up development of disease-resistant, more efficient potato varieties, strengthening the Northwest potato industry while putting Prosser at the center of cutting-edge agricultural research.
